About Smashing Time

Paul Freeman

Paul started playing keyboards as a wide-eyed young lad of 9, waiting until he was 16 to join his first band, picking up a host of other instruments along the way such as trombone, tuba, guitar and drums. But keyboards would always be his first love.

Influenced by the sounds of bands such as the Beatles, Stones and the Who, he joined the band Parade as Hammond organist; The love for that sound has remained with him since, and is key to the freshness of the sound of Smashing Time!
